Xandra's Baby Love {Fav Foto Friday}

Xandra is mini-me. We have been in another rough patch, but really it's just between me & her. 

She is so much like me, it's actually scary at times. 

It's a lot like looking in a mirror. 

It would be all fine & well, if she would have just picked up only my wonderful qualities!

But, no... she had to pick up on some of the bad ones, too. 

Suddenly, I see all the things I sometimes say & do that I know in my heart I shouldn't... reflected back at me in the form of a little blonde, 5-year-old girl. 

It's not always pretty.

But sometimes, I see the nurturing qualities that have always lived in my heart...

She adores her baby dolls. 

She feeds them

She burps them

She wraps them in blankets

She puts them down for naps (& makes us all be quiet while they "sleep")

She does not, however, keep the babies clothed.

We're going to have to work on that.

I feel so privileged to see this love come out in her. 

She is such a wonderfully, loving, caring, sensitive child...
